'True Blood's' Sam Trammell lends his support (and good looks) to fan effort for Japan disaster relief
When "True Blood" fans come together, it's hard to ignore. So, when several fan sites got together to raise funds for Japan disaster relief, you can expect the actors to take notice. They've done it before when Alexander Skarsgard and Stephen Moyer collectively raised close to $70,000 for charity and we believe they can do it again for Japan.
Sam Trammell, who plays shapeshifter Sam Merlotte on the HBO series, wears a shirt designed and produced by fans from True Blood News, AlexSkarsgard.net, Skarsgårdnews.com, Skarsgardfans.com and Sam-Trammell.com.
100% of the proceeds from the t-shirts will be donated to the Red Cross for their Japanese disaster relief efforts where about 15,000 survivors of the recent earthquake and tsunami still live in evacuation centers in that country where aftershocks and nuclear exposure still threaten its citizens.
You can support the cause by buying the shirt at the True Blood News store (it also comes in black, naturally).
Granted, we'd like to have seen Trammell in a tighter t-shirt, but eh, it's for charity.
