'The Hunger Games': Elizabeth Banks in talks, Thresh and Rue cast
Fans of "The Hunger Games," meet your District 11 Tributes: Newcomers Dayo Okeniyi and Amandla Stenberg.EW reports that Okeniyi and Stenberg have joined Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta) and Liam Hemsworth (Gale) in the highly-anticipated film as Thresh and Rue. In Suzanne Collin's dystopian novel, Thresh is the intimidatingly strong tribute who ends up helping Katniss in a surprising way and Rue is her ally in the arena.
In other "THG" casting news, Variety reports Elizabeth Banks is in talks to join the film. The character she'll play? Effie Trinket, the pink-haired handler for the District 12 tributes, Katniss and Peeta.
"The Hunger Games" is set to hit theaters on Mar. 23, 2012.

Cool! Amandla looks so cute, and i'm glad the movie's gonna be filled with hot guys, (especially Josh Hutcherson, i screamed when I first read he was gonna play Peeta) I still think Jennifer is wrong for the part as Catniss though..
