Royal Wedding: Cat Deeley, CNN's special correspondent, says the madness is 'reaching peak'
No one thought they'd exactly elope, but the Royal Wedding madness is becoming so frenzied that Cat Deeley tells Zap2it, it's far more than she expected.
"It's reaching peak," she says from London, where she is reporting for CNN with Piers Morgan and Anderson Cooper and will be reporting live for six hours Friday.
"I am a bit like, 'We have a still few days to go!'" Deeley says Tuesday. "You can't get more crazy, then it kind of does."
Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding has focused the world, and Deeley has a pretty good guess as to why.
"I think we have just had such a time of it recently, with Libya and Japan, and the economic crisis and all of the environmental crises," she says. "We are just watching our TV screens and we are seeing tragedies unfold. It is time for the world to come together and watch something joyous, and a fairy tale."
