Richie Sambora in rehab? Bon Jovi will tour without the guitarist

The show, ahem, tour must go on!

Richie Sambora will not be joining his Bon Jovi bandmates on their upcoming tour. Could it be because he's seeking treatment? The group is remaining mum on the situation, but do confirm that the guitarist will be not be present for future shows.

"Our support for Richie is absolute," Bon Jovi says in a statement. "He is, and will remain, a member of Bon Jovi. Although he will be absent from upcoming shows for the time being, we very much look forward to his healthy return. In the meantime, we will keep our commitment to our fans and continue on tour."

After the Thursday (Apr. 28) announcement, the guys have only a few days left before hitting the stage on Apr. 30 in New Orleans. Though the "healthy return" message is cryptic, E! Online suggests that rehab may be a factor.

It isn't yet known when or where the 51-year-old rocker will supposedly seek treatment, but if reports are true, this will make for his third stint.
