'Lost's' Evangeline Lilly is, like, really pregnant

evangeline-lilly-gi.jpgCongratulations are in order for "Lost" alumna Evangeline Lilly.

Lilly (who played Kate on the long-running show) was spotted sporting a major baby bump in Hawaii on Thursday (April 14). According to Us (where you can see some rather unfortunate paparazzi shots), Lilly is expecting her first child with Norman Kali, a production assistant who worked on "Lost."

Lilly's rep had no official comment, but based on the photos we'd say she's definitely due soon. And, apparently, she doesn't have any lingering superstitions about fertility and islands (maybe because Hawaii doesn't move like other islands we've known) where people who we thought were alive for six years were apparently in some kind of pseudo-purgatory the showrunners had previously disqualified as the premise of the show.

Lilly also dated "Lost" co-star Dominic Monaghan (Charlie) from 2004-2009.

"Lost" ended a six-season run in May 2010. At the time, Lilly said she was ready to take a break from acting.

"I'm definitely planning on taking a break for a little while," she said. "I consider acting a day job -- it's not my dream; it's not my be-all, end-all."

"where people who we thought were alive for six years were apparently in some kind of pseudo-purgatory..." WRONG!! They *were* alive for those six years and many more afterward. Perhaps you should get your facts right before you start criticizing.

Your comment about LOST is absolutely 100% not true. You say, "people who we thought were alive for six years were apparently in some kind of pseudo-purgatory the showrunners had previously disqualified as the premise of the show." As a fan of the show that statement is not accurate. They spent six years on the island, alive and well. The island was on earth not in some sort of purgatory. The "purgatory" you speak of may relate to the coda of the show that showed the fans that the castaways all end up in the same place together after their respective deaths.

Oh Liz ... why oh why?

Your comment about "Lost" is not appreciated at all ... if you watched the show completely you would have understand what happened with "The End" ...

Those who left the island, (remember the plane leaving as Jack was dying) lived for some time, we never knew how long ...

The purgatory as you call it, was a place they formed/made so they could meet again after each and everyone died ... even though not everyone of them accepted their death ...

Lostie 4-Ever!

Considering your ignorant statement about Lost, I now know your articles are trash and will make sure not to read them

They were always alive, the final season just showed where they all gathered after death. It was CLEARLY stated some died before the final season, some died during the final season, and some died many years after. It's just that, once they died...whenever that might be...they gathered and then went into the afterlife.

Dumbass.

So tired of all of you Lost critics who don't even know what you're talking about. Thanks to all who clarified the TRUE ENDING of Lost. Guess some people were just too dumb to understand it. Regardless, your snarky year-late critique about the end of Lost doesn't belong in a news article about an actress' pregnancy.

Apparently the writer of this article never watched the show.

How does a PA (glorified gofer) get the star of the show? Good for him.

So glad to know that there are others out there who are still passionate about the show, and don't appreciate criticism stemming from incorrect information. Enough of this burning Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse at the stake without even understanding what happened in the show. It's getting tedious, and Evangeline Lilly's pregnancy has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Hi (you all) everybody! If anyone's interested Anthony and I have started re-watching the show from the beginning. Since zap2it disabled comments on Ryan's old thread we started on the then-current (March 21st) zap2it article on Josh Holloway. Join us there!

"where people who we thought were alive for six years were apparently in some kind of pseudo-purgatory..."
