Lindsay Lohan on 'Tonight Show': 'I'm in the clear now'
Troubled teen star Lindsay Lohan is stopping by "The Tonight Show" Tuesday night (April 26) to talk about her struggles, which most recently led to a 120-day jail sentence and almost 500 hours of community service.
She tells Jay Leno, "I think that when, ya know, being young and being in a position that I was in, you don't really take the time to appreciate what you have. It's all kind of a whirlwind and people make decisions for you, but I'm not a kid anymore, I'm 24."
"I've made a lot of mistakes and I recognize that. But I'm in the clear now and I feel like as long as I stay focused the I will be able to achieve what I want to achieve," she continues.
What do you think, Pop2it readers? Wills he turn it around? Watch the full interview Tuesday night on "The Tonight Show," airing at 11:35 p.m. ET.

I hope she has learned her lesson, but only time will tell
Just another sorry, spoiled rich kid with all the world at her feet. She decided to act foolishly and behave like an idiot - because she could. She thought she was above the law. I don't think she's sorry, sure she's sorry she got caught, but I don't see a change in character. Look for more Linds' in court in the coming years. Should make a good circus.
teen? at 24 years old?
How in the world can she say that she's in the clear now? When controversy, courtroom trials, an almost non existent fan base and the dark cloud of delusion are hanging over her?
She needs to pay the piper, apologize sincerely, go away for a long time and actually study acting; only then can she say she's "in the clear". How delusional and unlikeable she is.
She will never learn because she never has to pay the consequences.
Always manages to get out of it somehow.
She needs to do the full time of 120 days because she will never learn.
She has no clue. She's excusing herself by imply that everyone in her position has done what she's done.
Well, they haven't and she STILL does not accept responsibility for her atrocious behavior.
Considering the responses so far I don't think she has a chance, if her goal is fame.
She needs to get with Drew Barrymore and talk about what she can possibly do. Maybe take a few years off so that the press moves on to another target.
But yeah...doesn't seem to bode well for her.
