Kate Middleton checks into pre-wedding hotel, makes final appearance as a non-royal entity
Surrounded by well-wishers, and probably a few gawkers, princess-to-be Kate Middleton made her final public appearance as a single woman when she checked in to London's Goring Hotel. She'll be spending the night before her wedding to Prince William at the hotel along with her mother, Carole, and sister, Pippa. Middleton will reportedly be staying in a five-room suite that just underwent a $240,000 makeover. It comes complete with a four-poster bed, a grand piano, a throne (really) and a waterproof, flat-screen TV.
"It's kind of a cross between an antique shop and you're granny's front bedroom," said ABC News contributor Duncan Larcombe. "It really doesn't do it for me." Middleton, accompanied by her father, Michael, will leave the Goring Hotel for Westminster Abbey bright and early at 5:51 a.m.

Reading that story, only one question come to mind. Why does the TV need to be waterproof?
i hope the genius who wrote this article realizes that it will be 5:51 am on the east cost of the UNITED STATES, not in england
