'How I Met Your Mother's' Alyson Hannigan signs on for 'American Reunion'

Ah, the pieces are coming together for the fourth installment of the "American Pie" franchise, "American Reunion."
"Buffy" alum and "How I Met Your Mother" star Alyson Hannigan has signed on reprise her role as the frisky band camper, Michelle, in the feature film set to start shooting in late-May reports Deadline. It's an important get for the film, since the storyline focuses on her character and Jim's (Jason Biggs) marriage and first child.
Hannigan joins the already signed Biggs, Sean William Scott, and Eugene Levy. Offers are reportedly out to the other original cast members from the late-nineties film, including Chris Klein, Mena Suvari, and Tara Reid.
The film is expected to have a fresh take with the "Harold & Kumar" writing and directing team of Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg at the helm.
Are you excited to see the band getting back together?
