Donald Trump vs. Bill Cosby: The 'Today' digs keep coming
People are still talking about Donald Trump's Thursday (Apr. 7) appearance on "Today." And by people, we obviously mean Trump himself. The Donald released a statement to the NBC morning program, informing them of his displeasure with Bill Cosby's comments regarding his potential bid to the presidency.
Cosby had appeared on the show shortly following Trump's fallacy ridden rant. "He's full of it," the comedian had said.
"You run or shut up," he added. "The only thing he's running is his mouth."
The real-estate mogul is firing back with the following statement:
"I was surprised to hear him blabber, somewhat incoherently 'you run or shut up.' The hatred was pouring out of his eyes... if he doesn't want me to run because he's obviously an Obama fan, he should state the reasons and not come into my 'green room' in front of numerous witnesses and treat me like his best friend. Sadly, he got more attention talking about me than he did on the merits of his own appearance -- maybe he is not as dumb as I thought."
Hatred? Cosby's eyes? Enough with the dramatics, please.

I don't like how this was written. It makes you, (Sophie), seem biased.
I just wish both of these guys would just shut up already.
Careful, Mr. Trump! Bill Cosby is a lot tougher than he looks. Cos is famous for once getting in a fist fight with Harvey Kietel in the 1970's, and knocking Kietel OUT! True story.
Trump does need to run or shut up. He's never gonna run. This is just another attention-***** stunt.
I hope Bill Cosby refrained from offering Donald some pudding products in the Green Room. I wouldn't eat anything Cosby gave me. It could be drugged.
Trump is a flat out jerk, and will do or say anything to get his name and face out there. It doesn't matter if it's good or bad, and talking crap about an icon like Bill Cosby is about as low as you can go. Mr. Cosby has the right to state his opinion, and the vitriol of Trump's response is utterly ridiculous.
Finally a website that does not require a person to give much of their personal information in a day and age of "identity theft".
I find the 'spin amusing in so much that somehow Bill Cosby is entitled to his own opinion about Donald Trump running for President, but yet at the same time Donald Trump is criticized for his inquiry into the President's place of birth.
I think Donald Trump has a real gift for getting straight to the point in a matter. He said plainly he does not want to "have" to run, but that America is going to hell. Having lived here for 39 years, I could not agree more.
Bill Cosby needs to get with the program, like Donald said, if he is an Obama supporter, state the issues. The fact is, although an overwhelming majority of news outlets constantly attempt to shove down the throats of Americans the idea that President Obama was born in America, a great deal of American's either do not believe it, doubt it, or just do not have enough information to make up their mind. Hence, the "investigation". Where is the ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE. You know the kind no PARENT on earth would leave the hospital without? That is what we are waiting on Mr. Obama. You have not produced it, you merely have stated your case that you are an American. Show us the proof. Oh by the way Bill Cosby, "The proof is in the pudding."
