Donald Trump trumped - He's the GOP's No. 2, but he throws a good 'tea party'
Was Thursday's (April 7) birther tirade on the "Today" show a calculated campaign strategy for "Celebrity Apprentice" boss Donald Trump? According to a recent Wall Street Journal/ NBC poll, Trump may be playing to his strongest audience.
Trump sits in second place for the presidential nomination among Republican primary voters polled. He's tied at 17% with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee. But, the voters placed former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in the No. 1 spot at 21%.
But, upon looking closer at the poll results, Trump is the No. 1 potential presidential candidate with 20% of those who categorize themselves as supporters of the "tea party" movement - those who are most likely to have their eyes roll back into their head in rapture at his reinvigoration of President Obama's birth certificate controversy.
He may come off a bit loopy to Bill Cosby and place second among Republicans as a whole, but Trump sits comfortably in the "tea party's" wheelhouse.

The latest poop is that Barry doesn't want it released because under "race" he's listed as "white". Don't blame me, that's the latest poop.....and it's funny.
How many times has Trump gone bankrupt?? Not a business man that I want in charge of the country.. Warren Buffet maybe, not Trump!
Guess who has a Connecticut SS#...hint he was born in "HAWAII". Trump is on to something HUGE.
Doesn't he have to end his tv show now? Clearly, he's running for President.
Though...it's not like his image on the tv show supports the idea that he's competent. So maybe it's ok?
