Donald Trump to announce presidential run intentions on the 'Celebrity Apprentice' finale

We're not sure whether we should take this as a threat or what. Either way CNN reports that Donald Trump announced "plans to give an announcement date" for his possible presidential run on "The Celebrity Apprentice" finale airing May 22 on NBC. To be clear, Trump will announce when he'll announce if he's running for president. Previously, he has said that he'll do so in June.

There are so many mind-boggling events occurring all at once this week when it comes to Trump's possible run. According to a new CNN poll, somehow Trump moved out of the No. 2 position he held in a Republican Party poll previously and he's now in a dead heat for the party's first choice with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who ran in the 2008 Republican primaries.

Does railing against Bill Cosby and following the President Obama birther conspiracy to its bitter end actually win Americans over rather than scare them away?

Either way, he can run firmly on the business platform, because his announcement of his announcement date will surely give "The Celebrity Apprentice" finale a ratings bump.

Do you think Trump should enter the 2012 race?

He won't win, plain and simple. It might be fun to watch him try (and to waste some of his money), so sure.

He's not really going to run. He loves the attention and free publicity he gets from the "will he/won't he" speculation. Actually catering to voters? Not on your life.

trump or chump please keep your day job

This is the type of stunts pompous idiots do... It's his style to draw attention to himself - good or bad..

I find the 'spin amusing in so much that somehow Bill Cosby is entitled to his own opinion about Donald Trump running for President, but yet at the same time Donald Trump is criticized for his inquiry into the President's place of birth.

I think Donald Trump has a real gift for getting straight to the point in a matter. He said plainly he does not want to "have" to run, but that America is going to hell. Having lived here for 39 years, I could not agree more.

Bill Cosby needs to get with the program, like Donald said, if he is an Obama supporter, state the issues. The fact is, although an overwhelming majority of news outlets constantly attempt to shove down the throats of Americans the idea that President Obama was born in America, a great deal of American's either do not believe it, doubt it, or just do not have enough information to make up their mind. Hence, the "investigation". Where is the ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE. You know the kind no PARENT on earth would leave the hospital without? That is what we are waiting on Mr. Obama. You have not produced it, you merely have stated your case that you are an American. Show us the proof.
Oh by the way Bill Cosby, "The proof is in the pudding."

OH YES.....DONALD TRUMP ....SHOULD RUN..I ALWAY LISTEN TO HIM OR NEWS,TALK SHOW..OR JUST HIS SHOW,,HE HAS VERY GOOD THOUGHS ABOUT OUR COUNTRY....HE WANT AMERICA SAFE.AND TAKE OUR AMERICA BACK ON TRACK....YOU KNOW HE COULD WIN......I BELIEVE IN HIM....
