Dianna Agron turns 25: The 'Glee' star's 5 best roles
Confession: We here at Zap2it love "Glee" star Dianna Agron. We really do. She's a good actress, has a great voice and is quickly becoming a fashion icon in young Hollywood. So what better way to show our love than a career retrospective on her 25th birthday?
Yes, believe it or not, Agron turns 25 today -- Apr. 30 -- and to celebrate, we picked five of her best TV and film roles yet, two cheerleader roles included:
No. 5 -- "Heroes"
The actress fine-tuned her b-tchy cheerleader, which she plays so well on "Glee," on this NBC series opposite Hayden Panettiere.
No. 4 -- "I Am Number Four"
Sure, the movie wasn't all that great, but Agron's sweet and lovable Sarah was one of the few highlights. (Downside: She met ex-boyfriend Alex Pettyfer a.k.a. Hollywood's new bad boy while filming.)
No. 3 -- "The Romantics"
Agron was effortless charming and totally believable as Minnow, Anna Paquin's younger sister in this underrated film. The scene where Paquin chases Agron around the house is one of favorite scenes in the film as it perfectly captures the relationship of the sisters.
No. 2 -- "Veronica Mars"
Sure, she was only in two episodes of the UPN/CW show, but her Little Miss Perfect character who had everyone fooled was super-fun to watch. Plus, it's "Veronica Mars." Show some respect.
No. 1 -- "Glee"
Come on, did you really think we'd pick any other role as Agron's best? Quinn should be not a likable character, but somehow Agron has transformed her into someone we root for. Sure, she still has her mean side, but isn't that what makes Quinn so much fun?

Love her. I wouldn't call her voice great. I would say, great actress, good voice but whatever. It's still cool. She doesn't get the credit she deserves because we are all blinded by her beauty. Quinn is so inconsistently written but she still manages to make it work.
This list just proves the girl has a ****-poor career. Her best role (and only sizable role other than the Alex Pettyfer film) is as Quinn on Glee? AKA one of the most boring/infuriating characters on the show. Why make a list when she only has two decent credits to her name?
Love her.
Please she is pretty, is a mediocre actress and singer. Girl is a sweet heart but lets not pretend she is anything but average.
She has no comedic timing and os far has proven only to handle the "b*tch* part of her character.
Dianna seems like a nice girl, a little eccentric, but nice none the less. I have to agree with some of the others she is ok at best. As far as singing and acting she seems to need to have a stronger partner to work well.. They have to find the right song for her like they did with the unpretty/I fell pretty mash up and pair her with a expert singer, have a decent arrangeable and do some magic in production to make it work. Keep Me hanging on, Time of my life and It's a Mans world are some of the weakest songs produced by glee.
She is pretty but not as much as some go on about I find Naya the prettiest and sometimes Lea, but Lea just has that spark to her that is attractive. Plus Lea and Naya sing and act circles around Dianna
Dianna is little boring in a way.
I have to agree with most of comments there is no denying that she is beautiful, but that is kind of what she in known for isn't it why people love her and her character Quinn. I personally can't stand her character, but she seems nice in real life. I don't think she is the strongest actress or singer on the show. Naya Rivera and Lea Michele are equally good at acting as they are vocally not to mention they are beautiful as well.
Just a bunch of nobodies criticizing a beautiful girl. Yup, that's different and unexpected. Anyway, happy 25th to a gorgeous girl with a heart of gold and voice of an angel, may this year be better than the last and bring you more success in front as well as behind the camera.
Dianna is best known for her flawless beauty bec that's the very 1st thing that any human being could notice about her, and admire about her. Her voice isn't great but I'd have to point out that it's very unique. She isn't a power belter like the other girls in Glee but she has this soft, cold voice that's just so relaxing to listen to. And let me just tell you the reason her voice is somewhat "nasal" is bec she was hit in her nose back in highschool(see Marie Claire).
Acting wise- I think she is a smart actor. She pays attention to small details like the mannerisms, the way she would look to the person she's in the scene with, the way she delivers her lines(the change in tone, paraphrasing). I particularly like the observation about that scene with Anna Paquin from the Romantics, I loved that as wel. And also how she is very Quinn even when they're performing a dance routine in Glee.
Happy birthday Dianna! she's talented, creative, a bit eccentric, wise beyond her years, seems really sweet, and beautiful.
Plus, it's "Veronica Mars." Show some respect.
This made me smile. I like Dianna. I'm glad she got to star in that awesome show.
