'Dark Knight Rises': Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt cast
It's official, Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt will join the cast of "The Dark Knight Rises," the next installment of Christopher's Batman franchise. According to The Wrap, Cotillard will play Miranda Tate, "a Wayne Enterprises board member who wants Bruce Wayne, who's still grieving, to resume his father's philanthropic endeavors in the city."
Gordon-Levitt will take on the role of John Blake, "a Gotham City cop who is given a special assignment under the command of Commissioner Gordon." Is he a goodie or a baddie? We don't know yet.
Cotillard and Gordon-Levitt join a cast that already includes Christian Bale (of course), Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman and Tom Hardy as Bane.

Woooo! Christopher Nolan is the undisputed best and greatest director in the world! The Dark Knight Rises will be the biggest movie ever! Watch out Avatar!
This a major shocker. Not that they are cast - just that they are not playing the characters that anyone thought they were. No Talia or Falcone here. Just two original characters.
... or are they?
