Charlie Sheen (possibly) tanks at Detroit show, Simon Rex raps
Breaking news! We have conflicting reports coming out of Charlie Sheen's first stop on his "sold out" comedy tour in Detroit. Charlie thinks its going smashingly. Everyone else? A little divided.
TMZ reports that heckling and walk-outs both took place when Sheen opened the show with a 30-minute Q&A.
After warming up the audience, Sheen left the stage for... Simon Rex. Yes, the former MTV VJ, actor and general veteran of the '90s is apparently co-headlining the show. He rapped for a while, getting some of the biggest boos of the night.
You wouldn't know it to read Sheen's tweets, though. The actor tweeted out an image of what looks like a very happy audience, with the semi-patronizing caption: "The most honest city in the world honors the most honest man in the universe #TruthTorpedo."
It doesn't come as much of a surprise that Sheen's first show would be a divisive event. Everything the the actor does has been up for debate -- especially the "sold out" nature of the tour.
EW reports Detroit's FOX theater is only at 75-percent occupancy due to unsold scalped tickets just a few days before the show.

Love Charlie no matter what, he knows show biz so imo he knew that coming on stage when you are not a comedian and some people want you to play Two and a Half Men or to crash and burn (like a "trainwreck" right medias ? wink..)on stage...and surprise you don't do that..they become angry..lol..don't give up Charlie.
p.s: poor Simon Rex but man you are pretty eye candy hollywood but not a rapper..just Charlie Sheen's buddie..so when people are after him they are after you..friendship forever..anyway i root for you guys no matter what !

Keep ur day job...if u still have 1 2 go back 2...Why the heck did u walk away fr ur $2,ooo,ooo.oo/episode job? Only an ignoramous would do such a moronic thing! Huh, guess ur NOT the one, "Winning," now. 2 bad so sad 4 u. Peace out!
Charlie Sheen - Loosing!
Interviews in Detroit say he bombed horribly and was booed off the stage, people are demanding their money back, looser.
What were these people expecting? They don't deserve their money back, they paid money to watch a loonatic make a fool out of himself and that's what they got.
Agreeing with Alex. A fool and his money are soon parted.
Amen, Alex and Rorschach. What were these people expecting? It's not like Charlie is a stand-up comedian. He READS the funny lines which other people write. And if they were looking forward to a night of intellectual discourse, they would be mistaken on that part as well.
Seriously, what were people expecting? He clearly is a very sick man. Of course he cannot entertain you right now. He's going to wind up dead and it is in part the media's fault. Leave him alone and maybe he will go get the help he needs. There are children to think about here, and this is NO longer funny. It's jut getting sad...
It's a shame that Simon Rex is making his living exploiting an ill Charlie Sheen. Rex should go back to making softcore porn videos; it'd be a more honorable living.
