Carrie Ann Inaba shows off her (large) engagement ring

Carrie Ann Inaba got engaged on national TV Thursday, and now having seen the ring fiancé Jesse Sloan gave her, we have to echo the sentiments of Regis Philbin: Whoa.

Sloan proposed to Inaba on Thursday's (March 31) "Live with Regis and Kelly," which the "Dancing With the Stars" judge was guest-hosting. Reege set the scene and looked over Inaba's shoulder as Sloan took a knee and popped the question.

Inaba shared a picture of the ring on Twitter a little while after the show, and we're suitably impressed, because it's a big'un. According to Us Weekly, Sloan gave her a 2 1/2-carat princess-cut diamond, with his and her birthstones embedded in the platinum band. Well done, Mr. Sloan.
