Ben Affleck in talks to join 'The Great Gatsby'?

Ben Affleck is in talks to join the cast of Baz Luhrmann's reimagined 3-D (I wish I were kidding) "Great Gatsby" production. According to Deadline.com, Affleck would take on the role of Tom Buchanan, Daisy's husband.

Already attached to the project: Leonardo DiCaprio as bored rich guy Jay Gatsby, Tobey Maguire as the somewhat naive Nick Carraway and Carey Mulligan as the irresisible Daisy.

How 3-D enters into the equation, we're not sure -- but we're hoping it involves some wicked flapper dresses whipping out at the audience.
