Beastie Boys go Will Ferrell, Seth Rogen, Elijah Wood and more

The Beastie Boys are debuting a new music video on MTV Wednesday night (April 20) for their song "Make Some Noise." In honor of that, several Hollywood funnymen, including Will Ferrell, Seth Rogen, Elijah Wood, Jack Black, Will Arnett and John C. Reilly, have filmed a spoof of the 1986 Beastie Boys hit "Fight For Your Right," called "Fight For Your Right Revisited."

Awesome. We hope the 30-minute video they advertise at the end is for more footage involving all these actors. We would imagine the entire thing is pretty darn hilarious.

The Beastie Boys' 8th studio album, "Hot Sauce Committee Part Two" debuts May 3. The rap group has already released three singles from the album. "Lee Majors Come Again" and "Too Many Rappers" were out back in 2009, while "Make Some Noise" just dropped this year.

This is getting annoying. Why is it that Zap2it keeps posting restricted videos in their stories. When I clicked on this one about the Beastie Boys Fight for your Right Revisited vid, as well as from the last few ones I tried, it comes up with "Sorry, we're unable to offer this video to users in your region". Funnily enough, I can go to YouTube, search for the vid and few it no problems. The point is though, I shouldn't have to.

@Total2Blue. I hear ya. But bear in mind this website is part of the Los Angeles Times, so they're really under no obligation to provide content that's available worldwide. Fortunately more companies such as the BBC are starting to realize how stupid "geolocking" of content is and are, slowly, letting things open up.
