Ali Fedotowsky's kayak accident gets her five staples in head

Ali Fedotowsky! You be more careful, girlfriend. We only like so many "Bachelor" franchise folks and you and Roberto are top on the list.

People is reporting that former "Bachelorette" Ali and Roberto Martinez, her beau from the show, went kayaking Sunday (April 17). Ali's kayak flipped and she ended up in the hospital.

"Ali and Roberto had a little mishap when their kayak capsized this weekend," says Ali's rep. "Ali was taken to the hospital and had five staples put in her head."

Ali tweets of the ordeal:

• Made it out of the ER w/staples in my head & a little less hair after falling out of a kayak. Scary stuff. Wearing a helmet next time.
• I think I freaked out more when the doctor cut my hair rather than when he put staples into my head. Lol. Very thankful to be ok :)
• Thanks so much everyone for your concern. Big headache, but managed to hide staples w/hair part and I am back at work this morning :)

And Roberto adds: "Eventful day... Thankful Ali is ok. If you see a Kayaker in La Jolla with my motocross helmet on, you'll know who it is ;)"

We are glad it wasn't anything more serious.
