you,ve got to be kidding!! taylor swift only covers one age range-the bubblegum crowd. who'd she pay off this year??????
ditto
While I think that Taylor has some definite talent in songwriting (not too great now, but it has serious potential), I think it's a little sad that all of the hype surrounding her album was about who she'd write about next, not what great songs she's going to have on the album. Her voice is average at best and think that she was undeserving of the Entertainer of the Year award.
You two are idiots - I am 50 and I thnk she is amazing, writes incredible songs and is one of the most gifted country performers to come along in a while. NOTE: Lamberts House song is one of the best I have heard and she should and did win.
Disagree with many of these results. I'd like to preface this by saying Carrie's lack of nomination in the EOTY category is a travesty. 2010 was her biggest year, and she's accomplished double the other nominees' careers combined in a single year. I'm not saying that as a fan of hers either.
As for Taylor's win, she HAS accomplished a lot... for the pop community. Just because you sing in a barn does not make you country. Period. I'm not criticizing her, but she needs to learn how to label her music.
Again, not saying his as a Carrie fan, but Carrie should not have lost a VOCALIST award to Miranda Lambert. I'm a huge Miranda fan, but let's be realistic. Carrie's pipes are RIDICULOUS. And I'm not digging the fact that Miranda's long overdue praise is all stemming from ONE song. I love THTBM, but songs like Me and Charlie Talking are equally worthy of such praise. It's one song, and this hype is annoying.
If I Die Young is one of the best songs I've ever heard, so seeing two TBP wins is pleasing, but in my opinion IIDY > THTBM. Not by a whole lot. I'm just picky.
Love seeing the Brad win. The only male in country that could challenge him is Charles Kelley.
No kidding!!! I can't believe Taylor Swift won, how undeserving. But she was right to thank her fans, because without those 10 million teenagers who all want to be like her, she would have nobody. She shouldn't be in the same category as the others, who are ALL amazing SINGERS!!!!!
I agree about swift. so undeserving. carrie should have ben right up there.
Stop being Mean! Taylor Swift is Amazing and is definitely deserving of all the votes she got to win that award!
Taylor Swift has an average at best voice. And entertainer of the year? Laughable!
Be HONEST, where would you have more fun at, and rather hear and see in concert. Taylor Swift or Brad Paisley? Yeah, I thought so!
you guys are on something, taylor swift is beyond amazing, stop hating, go do what she does, oh wait, you'd never get 20 million albums out
