The Situation's Donald Trump roast fail: Worse than we thought
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino may excel at GTL (gym, tan, laundry) and dodging grenades, but when it comes to holding his own amongst a line-up of real stand-up comics, well, the guy is a massive bomb.As we already reported, the Sitch totally embarrassed himself in an attempt to roast Donald Trump and not even fellow roaster Jeffrey Ross (a veteran of the game) could save him from an utter fail.
But, it turns out the Situation was, well, uglier than we first thought. According to TMZ.com, Sorrentino's routine -- obviously self-penned or written by someone hoping to totally sabotage the unwitting "Jersey Shore" star -- was rife with racial slurs and even deaf "jokes" about roast attendee Marlee Matlin.
Here's a sampling:
"Yo Snoop, what up dawg ... you know you have so much in common with Donald Trump? Trump's ancestors were into real estate ... and your ancestors were considered property."
---
"I'm not from New Jersey ... I was born in Staten Island which is a New York borough ... not to be confused with the burro Marlee Matlin bl*ws onstage in Tijuana..."
"Relax," he continued, "she didnt even hear it. I mean hey, at least her mouth is good for something right? Hey, that was definitely some great work Marlee ... have you ever done anything else actually?"
---
"I like Larry King ... he's a playa ... he actually wrote a book named 'Mr. King Is Having a Heart Attack.' He got that title from a hooker he was f**king."
Stay classy, dude.
Add that to practically poisoning J-WOWW's dogs with peanut butter and Marshmallow Fluff on last week's episode, instigating the latest fight between Ronnie and Sammi and generally behaving like a massive douche and, well, we're... not surprised at all?

Yeah, he really did eat it, it was not funny at all. As an open-mic person, I know that what he went through last night was about as tough as it gets. I found it to be one of the funniest roast moments I've seen.
As far as the content though, it's a bit unfair to criticize him for that. Non-comedians rarely write their own roast material, and it's clear he had some of these jokes written. As far as it being "racial" or being offensive to Marlee, there were racial and deaf jokes all night (the best one was asking Russell Simmons if he was going to put her in the next Def Comedy Jam). He didn't write these, only performed them with the utmost of smugness, which comedians love to destroy. And the audience was loving every bit of the destruction.
the audience wasn't loving that stuff. Please don't be blind and look.
Pauly D is the best character on Jersey Shore by far. Sitch is a bi***!
What did people expect? He's a douche. That's not going to change in one evening...
Hope, read my message again. I wrote that the audience was loving "the destruction." If you were watching the clip, once the boos started the audience started going crazy with the boos. It was a Showtime at the Apollo moment, for sure.
And if you ask the audience member their highlights of the evening, they will likely say that they loved watching "The S*ituation" out of his element, flopping around like a dead fish at open mic night.
Well, it's about time one of those fucktards got a piece of what people actual feel about them. now to take care of that slutty pig snooki.
I hate jersey shore but I think the situation did have some good jokes. First time I watched I thought he was **** but upon second viewing I found that he had some decent jokes, crude, but decent jokes. I guarantee the audience feels the same way I do about jersey shore, just a bad influence on our new feeble minded generation. **** show. The audience didn't even give him a chance. I hate him but I hate that it was almost staged to make him look bad. Everybody hates cocky ***** but he did have some good jokes that the audience didn't acknoledge. Unfair let him do his thing
Mike aka situation must of sold his soul to the devil......cuz he is the biggest piece of crap on t.v ..he has no talent . Nor is he funny. All night he was bragging about.how many women he has and etc,....... If u look at season one all they got was very.unatractive women ...i hope the show gets cancelled til then I refuse to watch mtv.....lame@sses
And if possible? His comedy is worse then his rapping! Donald Trump roast! Never in my life seen a guy get booed off stage at roast! Everyoen so drunk they laugh at everything! Yet he was so bad! Alcohol and drugs didnt help!! Man he is BRUTAL! Sad thing is, he thought he was funny? Haaa! Thats the saddest part! Most gt help with routine, so if he didtn ask for help? He must have those his skit was funny! Well DOUCHE BAG, IT WASNT! Man i ALMOST felt bad for him. Then relized what a tool he is.
I have encountered many people in my life who are exactly like the situation. Dumb as a post with huge egos. Here is the irony - these two qualities that made him bomb at the trump roast are the very same qualities that protect him. The saying 'ignorance is bliss' holds 100% true in the case of the sitch. While many of us who have half a brain and a decent dose of humility would have lied awake that night pondering over the horror of it all...this guy probably thought he knocked 'em dead!
