The Dukan Diet: How you can eat like Kate Middleton
Every bride wants to look her best for her wedding, but Kate Middleton has a teeny bit of extra pressure as she prepares to marry the future King of England in front of oh, the entire world. According to ABC News, she's decided to follow the Dukan Diet to look her best in her dress. The Dukan Diet, according to a soon-to-be-released book, is dubbed "the real reason the French stay thin." Kate's mother started the diet earlier this year, and it's reportedly a favorite for celebs like Jennifer Lopez and Nicole Kidman.
The diet is high in protein and low in carbs. It involves four phases -- "attack, cruise, consolidation and stabilization," according to ABC. The first phase is the strictest, with an extremely high concentration of protein that encourages speedy weight loss. Veggies are introduced in the cruise stage, and the final stages are meant to encourage maintenance of the plan.
You can read much more about the Dukan Diet on their website. Mostly, we're just hoping that Middleton is using the method to look her best, not to lose a ton of weight. The 5'10", 120 lb stunner definitely doesn't need to drop weight -- wedding or no wedding.
