Sandra Bullock donates $1 million to Japan relief

Sandra Bullock is once again showing her generosity in the face of a natural disaster. The American Red Cross has released a statement about her gift:"The American Red Cross is extremely grateful for this generous support from Sandra Bullock and her family. This contribution is vitally important as the Red Cross works to provide critical assistance and essential relief items in this time of urgent need for so many people in Japan."
Bullock previously donated $1 million to aid in the Haiti relief after the earthquake there a year ago. We have to say, while all donations are important, it's a bit staggering that Bullock just donates so much of her own money. Organizations like "American Idol" or Charlie Sheen's tour are donating proceeds from iTunes downloads or ticket sales, but she just reaches into her pocketbook and helps out. It's wonderful to see.
