NKOTBSB single: 'Don't Turn Off the Lights' turns us into pre-teens again
Once upon a time, we strapped on our roller-blades underneath our favorite appliqued Limited Too bell-bottom jeans and skated down the block with our discman listening to "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)." We were super cool. Shut up.This song takes us back to those days. The New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys (collectively known as NKOTBSB, or New Kids on the Backstreet Boys, which is... weird) have released a perfectly '90s single together, called "Don't Turn Off the Lights."
Don't be fooled by the slightly suggestive title or the dance beat. This is, at its heart, the kind of song that made you want to plaster Nick Carter's face all over the inside of your locker -- once you were finally old enough to have your own locker -- back in the day when you always went to school with no less than six butterfly clips in your hair.
The nine men n the band blend their vocals seamlessly. We can't wait to see the choreography on their big summer tour, which starts May 25 in Rosemont, IL.
This concert is going to be so cool. Especially now that we're old enough to drink.

Um, of course we were cool!! And I'm talking my super cool tail to see them in concert in Nashville this summer. I know all my friends are secretly jealous, even if they say they aren't :)
