Nina Dobrev talks 'Vampire Diaries,' staying healthy, and those Ian Somerhalder romance rumors

Zap2it's fave doppelganger darling, "The Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev, is on the cover of April's Teen Vogue, looking all set for springtime. In the photos she's depicted relaxing with a cup of tea and a newspaper -- but she admits that relaxation doesn't really fit into her grueling schedule."By the time I get home, memorize the next day's work, brush my teeth, remove all the makeup, and shower to get the blood off," she says. "Then I have to be back at work in seven hours. I can only do so much."
Pulling double-duty as Katherine and Elena on "TVD" isn't anything new to Dobrev - she's been playing a lot of roles at once ever since high school. "I wanted to be the jock, and I wanted to be a dancer and actress," she says. "I was also a gymnast and very academically driven. I always had a lot on my plate and was really overwhelmed. Not much has changed. I'm constantly trying to one-up myself and raising the stakes."
Without much sleep to recharge, Dobrev has to take care of herself. She says she watches what she eats but doesn't get too obsessive about it, and she looks forward to her yoga classes. "It's that hour and a half in my day that I get to not have voices telling me to go somewhere, do something, run lines, get curtains," says the new homeowner.
As for her social life, we've all heard the rumors that Dobrev is dating her co-star, Ian Somerhalder. She just shrugs them off. "We expected the rumors," she says. "Like, if I wasn't dating Ian, I'd be dating Paul. A lot of people who work together end up dating, so it wouldn't be unusual, but I've never dated anyone I've worked with."

@sarvenaz agree. she did not convince me AT ALL! I think the answer was vague and it added more mystery to their relationship! A year ago when she was asked about dating a costar she was more categorical, she said she would never ever date a costar but now it doesn't seem unusual for her anymore. plus "I've never dated anyone I've worked with" doesn't mean she is not currently.
How is "I've never dated anyone I've worked with"vague? Does she not work with Ian? Just because you Delena fan girls are obsessive, doesn't mean you have to be delusional.
Don't know much about these two other than what my wifes younger sister has told me.
There's nothing new with the vague "I've never" statements.There's a definite pattern,shortly after the interview one or the other will make flirty twits how awesome and gorgeous the other is.In a few days they will be spotted out together,where one goes the other is sure to follow.
The whither or not they are a couple speculation is a publicity stunt.
even the magazine quoted that nina didn't confirm or deny the rumors...my thing is if you're not dating, why not just come out and say that you're not...personally, i do think they're dating..i just think they're trying to keep it quiet and private, which i totally understand and respect..
Oh Please Nina stop it! I am not sure Nina knows what dating is by some of the comments she has made. In the In Style Magazine interview she has a boyfriend and then in the Flare Magazine interview she has no time to date. Her interviews regarding her personal life are so contradictory. Considering how much time her and Ian spend together off set, and have reportedly been seen together as a couple in restaurants and other venues exactly what constitutes dating in her mind. Getting past her ridiculous denials, the photo shoot for Teen Vogue was extraordinarily beautiful. Nina is gorgeous!
I believe somethings going on, the chemistry is too hott on screen to not bleed off. Hey "marie", stop hatin. Just cuz there's more of us (delena fans) already doesn't mean u should be so cranky.
Give the girl a break. She's the centre of a show with two men fighting over her. For her to declare a preference off screen interferes with any long term potential this show has.
Hopefully if they are dating and they do break up the chemistry will still be there. Otherwise I would have to quit watching the VD's and it is one of the very few shows I still enjoy.
