'Mike & Molly's' Katy Mixon weighs in on Charlie Sheen, Chuck Lorre battle

Katy Mixon has been a busy lady between her role as firecracker April Buchanon on HBO's "Eastbound & Down" and sultry older sister Victoria on CBS' "Mike & Molly," but it wasn't too long ago that she shared the screen with Charlie Sheen as a guest star on "Two and a Half Men."

Mixon appeared in three episodes of the sitcom as Betsy, who runs off with Charlie for a quickie wedding in Vegas. It is later revealed, however, that Betsy is already married.

Zap2it caught up with the gorgeous Mixon at the "Eastbound & Down" Paleyfest event on Thursday (Mar. 10), and asked her to weigh in on the latest Sheen controversy.

"He is a lovely man. I worked with him three different times on 'Two and a Half Men' and when I worked with him, he couldn't have been kinder with me and I wish him the absolute best," she so tactfully states.

"I'm working with Chuck Lorre who's a great man," she adds. "He's an absolutely great man and I'm blessed to be with that whole team. That whole team of course is 'Mike & Molly,' and I was, you know, blessed to work with Mr. Charlie Sheen."

When we asked whether she was surprised with how the whole scenario has played out, she wasn't quite sure how to respond.

"I don't really know, to be really honest. I don't know him," she admits. "I only know him through a work perspective and he was lovely."
