Mariah Carey tweets pic of her baby bump

Mariah Carey came through a pregnancy false alarm over the weekend, when she was rushed to the hospital after experiencing early contractions. She and the soon-to-come twins and husband Nick Cannon are back home now and tweeting up a storm -- at least mama Mariah is.

On Monday, she shared a pic of her baby bump painted with a butterfly, perhaps in homage to spring or her own 1997 album and single of the same name, "Butterfly." Or, more likely, it was in honor of Carey's own birthday. She celebrated her 42nd birthday yesterday.


Carey's due date is still a couple of weeks away. She tweeted as much on Sunday, writing "They almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary indeed!!! We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!! : ) #soreadyallready!"
