Katherine Heigl's 'One for the Money' postponed again

heigl-gi.jpgKatherine Heigl's next big screen project, the comedy "One for the Money," has been postponed again -- this time indefinitely to duck potential competition.

The movie, based on Janet Evanovich's bestselling novels, had originally been slated for a July 8 release opposite "Horrible Bosses," which is chock full of A-listers, including Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Colin Farrell, Jamie Foxx and Kevin Spacey.

Lionsgate then pushed the release up to June 3, but that put Heigl in direct contention with "X-Men: First Class" -- total blockbusters material and competition killer.

"We just want to find the right home for [the film]," a Lionsgate rep tells EW, "and that [date] didn't feel like it."

"One for the Money" co-stars John Leguizamo and Sherri Shepherd and follows Heigl as Stephanie Plum, a rookie bail bondswoman who ends up in pursuit of a "wanted cop from her romantic past."

I am very much looking forward to this movie since I'm a big fan of the books but this news don't give me much confidence. I would think it should be fine against X-Men since they both are going after different audiences. Either way I hope I get to see this movie soon and even a bigger hope is that it's good.

NOOOO --- no more delays! I love the books and want to see how they put it into film......

She's a b***ch. Good for her!

It has not been postponed again. This is the first postponement. It was originally mooted for July 8th, they moved it forward to June then decided to change the date to one that has not yet been announced. It would have been fine against X-Men but there was no time it is mid-March and there has not been so much as a trailer or a poster. Lionsgate have made a real screw up of the launch.

I loved the books but I won't see this because Heigl in it. So it doesn't matter when they move it to.
