Kate Middleton and Prince William get royal stamp of approval
The Royal Mail is set to unveil two commemorative stamps on April 21 -- a little more than a week before the wedding -- in honor of Prince William's marriage to longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton. The stamps feature two photographs shot by Mario Testino and already released as the couple's official engagement portraits. And although they won't be available until April 21 (too late for the invitations, alas), interested parties can start ordering online on April 7.
According to People, Prince William is the first of Queen Elizabeth's grandchildren to have his wedding commemorated by the Royal Mail.
Of course, William's parents -- Prince Charles and Princess Diana -- had their own commemorative stamps released to mark their 1981 wedding. In addition to official Roayl Mail stamps, the couple was also honored on postage from other countries with ties to Britain -- including Australia, Bardados, Bermuda, the Falkland Islands and Samoa. We hope Kate and Wills know they could've saved some trouble and made their own online at a variety of make-your-own stamp sites.

Bermuda and the Falkland Islands are not countries, they are territories of the United Kingdom. It would be like calling Puerto Rico or Guam countries.
