John Travolta's Qantas Airline safety video deemed 'cringe-worthy' by flight crew

Qantas, the leading Australian airline, may have been hoping to get some star power out of their latest safety video by tapping John Travolta to star. Unfortunately, the actor's cameo hasn't been well received by staff.

The video has been labeled "cringe-worthy," "corny" and "tacky" by the cabin crew. They're also less than thrilled with some of the vocabulary choice in the video.

"We feel it's demeaning to be called 'the team,'" an employee tells the Daily Telegraph. "It makes us feel like we work at McDonald's." Cue the enraged fast food employees.

"The whole thing seems to make the safety message seem trite," he continues.

The three-minute video is played prior to takeoff on each and every domestic and international Quantas flight. We don't think the video is that awful. What say you, Zappers?
