Elizabeth Taylor's family gathers for private funeral; Being laid to rest near Michael Jackson

Just one day after her death, Elizabeth Taylor is being laid to rest with an intimate service for family members.

Taylor is being honored in a private funeral at Forest Lawn Memorial Park (in Glendale, Calif.) according to People. The same place that longtime friend, Michael Jackson, is buried.

According to a source, five stretch limousines arrived at the mausoleum around 2 PM PT on Thursday (Mar. 24). The service is said to be held exclusively for family -- including her four children, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Taylor passed away early Wednesday morning from congestive heart failure at age 79. A public memorial for the Hollywood icon is expected to take place at a later date.
