Demi Lovato's new tattoo: A heart for her fans

Shortly after her heartfelt message thanking fans for their support, Demi Lovato has already upped the ante.

In a new video posted to Cambio on Tuesday (Mar. 15), Lovato shows off some fresh ink and explains its connection to her beloved fans.

"The journey that I went through and the support of my fans was so meaningful to me that I wanted to thank my fans in a way that I know can never be forgotten," she says. "So I went ahead and got a little heart tattoo on my wrist."

Displaying both wrists, which together read "Stay Strong," she points to a small heart on the right.

"This one has a heart, which is something that my fans actually were drawing on their wrists while I was still in treatment," she explains. "Some people even got tattoos of it, so I wanted to show you guys that I will never forget the support that you guys gave me."

The Disney darling also rejoined the Twitterverse for the first time since October.

"Guess who's baaaaaaaack...!!!!!!!" she teased. Adding, "I love you guys SO MUCH... this support is UNBELIEVABLE!! I'm tearing up I'm so thankful..."
