Aaron Eckhart, 'Battle Los Angeles' star, likes a woman who takes care of herself

eckhart-gi.jpgAaron Eckhart, who leads a rag-tag group of insurgents fighting an alien takeover of L.A. in "Battle Los Angeles" (opening Friday, March 11), totally spills about love and his turn-ons in the April issue of Women's Health.

Eckhart, who is notoriously closed mouth about his relationships, doesn't get into specifics, but proclaims that there's "no better feeling" than being in love. The 42-year-old actor was once engaged, but never married.

"You know, I'm not married, right?" says Eckhart in the interview. "There's a reason for that. I like to air it out. But after an argument, you have to stay in the moment. Do something together. Go on a road trip."

Okay. He also dishes about what attracts him in a woman:

"I love women who will play tennis with me, cycle with me, ski, snowboard, surf... any of it. A woman who takes care of herself turns me on."

(Note to Courtney Love: You need not apply.)

"I'm tough at first," says Eckhart of his need for a brainy partner. "In order to really get to know a woman, you have to pose questions that she's not used to answering, that she has to contemplate, that really gets her thinking about who she is and what she wants in life."

When asked about failed relationships, Eckhart offers this interesting, if unexpected, take:

"I feel like couples should always reaffirm their love, as opposed to telling each other about their crushes. It creates animosity. Some opinions you might want to keep to yourself."

(Note to self: Don't tell husband about Aaron Eckhart crush.)

Stay a bachelor Eckhart, you are
better off, you want too much. Besides what are you offering her
besides complaining, if she can't ski, surf or gains a little weight, one of the reasons you are still a bachelor.

Well i love Eckhart as an actor (plus he is awesome and has charisma) but i don't care about his relationships advises..moreover he seems somewhat self-absorbed (ah the actor's egos..ah annoying) in this interview.
At my turn i have one advise for you Aaron : stay closed mouth about your pretentious view of love. Thanks.

^ agree. self-absorbed and a little nuts.
