'The View': Elisabeth Hasselbeck fires back at Bill Maher, discredits his manhood
Another episode of "The View," another gauntlet thrown. Elisabeth Hasselbeck is unhappy about her recent mention on HBO's "Real Time With Bill Maher." The host, referring to detained journalist Lara Logan, Maher offered up Hasselbeck to Egyptian President Mubarak in exchange.
Hasselbeck brought the segment up on the Feb. 7 episode of "The View," calling his remarks sexist and then making a bit of an odd argument against free speech. When Barbara Walters mentioned that he was entitled to use comedy as he wants to, Hasselbeck more or less nominated him for deportation.
"Well he's in the wrong country then," she says, "because we should be able to think differently and appreciate across the board that we are in a country where we can express our beliefs."
Apparently the one thing the two can agree on is that they don't want to be in the same country.
Hasselbeck dismissed her co-hosts questions about whether she was upset by the comments. "He doesn't have the ability to hurt my feelings," she says. "because he's not a real man."

Bill Maher and Elizabeth Hasselbeck are two sides of the same coin: over-exposed hacks who wouldn't have a job if they hadn't boffed the right boss at the right time. They're internally-ugly people who need to both go join the next version of a doomsday cult somewhere in Tibet. They both are, of course, entitled to their own opinions, but they should do everyone a solid and just say it to their invisible friend.
Bill! I used to admire your wit and humour. But you don't pick on Elisabeth Hasslebeck! She is special! The UK have their Queen Elizabeth, and as far as I'm concerned the USA (I"m a Canadian) has their Queen Elisabeth! Don't you have the brains to 'SEE' how powerful Elisabeth of the USA is? There are 150 million other women in the USA you could have picked on and you pick on Mrs. Hasslebeck?
She is working for ABC (you just HBO) and more than 20 years younger than you. Hopefully Mrs. Hassleback will run for president in 2016!!!
The USA NEEDS her! She has taught me that the 'right' have many good points. A man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest, that was always lefty Larry, but when Elisabeth speaks on the VIEW, I LISTEN! She should have her OWN show so that we can hear her finish a sentence.

Hasselbeck is as stupid as they come. She has put so much botox in her lips, she can hardly speak a coherent word. Her claim to fame is wrestling around in mud on survivor and removing her top for food. She made fun of Erin Andrews for wearing next to nothing on Dancing with the Stars, when she, herself ran around half naked on television on survivor. Physician heal thyself!!! You lady are an idiot wrapped in a moron.
