'The Biggest Loser' trainer Jillian Michaels is 36 and says her biological clock is tickin'
Fans were a bit surprised when "The Biggest Loser's" veteran trainer and GoDaddy.com's newest spokesmodel, Jillian Michaels, announced that this season would be her last on the weight loss show and that her new goal is motherhood. She's now opening up on that decision and says she's in the middle of the adoption process.
"I'm 36! Do you hear the clock? It doesn't matter!" she laughs after Access Hollywood asked her if she had a preference for the sex of her baby. "As long as there's a little teeny person with me, I'll be good."
It seems all that energy she has put into helping others reach their goals is being poured into creating her family.
"I'd like to take a year off of television and really focus," she says. "I'm in the middle of the adoption process - and really focus on that and hopefully becoming a mother in the next year and putting all my energy into that for awhile."
While she says she'll aim for a 2012 return to television, right now the adoption process is keeping her plenty busy.
"I've completed all of my paperwork; I've had all my physicals; I've been checked by the FBI - you have no idea!," she exclaims. "Now I wait for a referral. That could be anywhere from six months to a year. I'm in a pilot program for the Democratic Republic of Congo so we'll see."
She adds, "So, it's a process... but I'm excited for it!"

Hmm -Children need all your energy for more than just 'awhile.' They are not accessories.
Adoption has nothing to do with a biological clicking clock.
I read that Jillian said that she didn't want to ruin her beautiful body by deforming it by getting pregnant, so she would adopt !
