Oscars 2011: Michelle Williams, Amy Adams and more bring the sparkle
The stars brought the glitz and glam to the Oscars red carpet, where one of the hottest trends for women was sparkle... lots of sparkle. Here's a rundown of the stars who rocked a sequined frock:Mandy Moore, who is performing a song from her film "Tangled," during the show, walked the red carpet in a super-sparkly Monique Lhuillier concoction. While we love the Anne Hathaway-esque gown, we wish she would have went for more youthful hair and make-up.
Amy Adams, nominated for her role in "The Fighter," wore a midnight blue L'Wren Scott gown with a high neck. We love Adams' unexpected emerald green jewelry, which clash perfectly with her gown.
"True Grit" nominee Hailee Steinfeld looked age-appropriate and fun in a sparkly nude Marchesa gown (that she helped design!) with an adorable headband. We just want to put her in our pocket. She's that cute.
Best Actress nominee Michelle Williams ("Blue Valentine") looked every bit like an Old Hollywood starlet in her silvery-white Chanel Haute Couture gown. Her pixie haircut only made her entire look even more glamorous.
Oscar winner Halle Berry also rocked sequins on the carpet, wearing a nude Marchesa gown with an organza skirt.
