Maksim Chmerkovskiy's first Ukrainian 'Bachelor' ad: What's happening?
We need to learn Ukrainian, stat. Because we're not quite sure if this is an ad for "Dancing With the Stars" pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy's upcoming run on the Ukraine version of "The Bachelor" or a car commercial.
You know, it could actually be an ad for any number of luxury goods. There's a slow motion tuxedo sequence, jewels, a fancy automobile and several serious pairs of ladies' shoes. And how about those ladies?
Our wild confusion over each of the 79 seconds here prevents us from knowing if the women in the commercial are actually contestants (probably not), but if they are participating, we already have a surly favorite...
All the roses to the woman with the vacant sneer and bedazzled french maid uniform!
Really, the only thing that we can gather from this spot is that we would give just about anything to watch this show. Order us a copy of "Rosetta Stone: Ukrainian" and sign us up for the most expensive satellite cable package out there.

Come on, some network in US pick up this show and translate it. We need to know. Wow Hot.
I truly hope that Maks finds the love of his life on this show, but is it horrible that the first thought in my head while watching the video was 'I'm waiting to see the article on Zap2It in a few months that says "Maks and Girlfriend from Ukrainian "Bachelor" Break up"? "The Bachelor" U.S. has made me so sickeningly jaded, but I hope Maks breaks the trend that our "Bachelor"'s have had.
I had heard that Maks was offered to do The Bachelor here in the U.S. and he turned it down! I would have been glued to my TV set every week. I've always loved Maks on DWTS, but to see him in The Bachelor would have been heavenly. I truly hope they somehow allow us to see his Ukrainian show.
OK! I've never really been a fan of these types of "reality" TV but I watched the clip. Now, is it just me, or does the first (and really only) woman they show very clearly, look freakishly like another certain Dancing With the Stars pro? I'm just sayin'
I watched the ad and it is an ad for a bachelor show. That's the name of the show at the end of the commercial - Bachelor, that's all it says.
