Len Lesser, 'Seinfeld's' Uncle Leo, dead at 88
Veteran character actor Len Lesser, best known for playing curmudgeonly Uncle Leo on 15 episodes of "Seinfeld," passed away Feb. 16 at 88 years old.
The AP reports Lesser died in Burbank, California, after succumbing to cancer-related pneumonia.
In addition to his turn on "Seinfeld," Lesser had a recurring role on "Everybody Loves Raymond" and appeared in episodes of shows dozens of series, including "Get Smart," "The Munsters" and "ER."
His last acting credit is an appearance in a 2009 episode of "Castle."
Lesser is survived by his two children and three grandchildren.
