Justin Bieber talks abortion, politics and sex in Rolling Stone

zap2it-justin-bieber-rollin.jpgOur two immediate thoughts after reading Justin Bieber's Rolling Stone interview? No. 1: Why on earth is a magazine asking a 16-year-old his opinion on abortion? No. 2: Where was his publicist?

In the article, the "Never Say Never" star discusses his opinions on a lot of topics -- including sex, politics and abortion. Here's a quick rundown of The Biebs' quotes:

Sex: "I don't think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them. I think you should just wait for the person you're...in love with." [The magazine says Bieber's desktop image on his laptop is a picture of him and girlfriend Selena Gomez against an orange sunset. Aw, true love!]

Politics: "Canada's the best country in the world. We go to the doctor and we don't need to worry about paying him, but here [America], your whole life, you're broke because of medical bills. My bodyguard's baby was premature, and now he has to pay for it. In Canada, if your baby's premature, he stays in the hospital as long as he needs to, and then you go home."

When later asked about political parties, Bieber says, ""I'm not sure about the parties, but whatever they have in Korea, that's bad."

Abortion: "I really don't believe in abortion. It's like killing a baby?"

RS then asks the 16-year-old if he believes in abortion when it comes to the matter of rape because that seems pretty appropriate to ask a 16-year-old: "Um. Well, I think that's really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I guess I haven't been in that position, so I wouldn't be able to judge that."

We're counting down the hours minutes until an apology and/or statement is issued from Bieber's camp.

I could see the sex question, but the abortion and rape stuff was uncalled for. Where the hell was his publicist, is right. Smh.

Apology for what? Those sound like pretty reasonable answers.

what do they need to issue an apology for?

WTH!

I could see the sex question, but the abortion and rape stuff was uncalled for. Where the hell was his publicist, is right. Smh.

Wow, they really set the kid up for failure, eh?

I'm thinking that "Everything happens for a reason" isn't a great answer to any question regarding rape.

Maybe they should've stuck to questions about his favorite Saturday morning cartoons and such.

I think an apology from the Rolling Stone camp would make more sense...Bieber's camp could apologize to him, but don't see why they'd issue one publicly...it was just awkward, not offensive

Why does he have to apologize for his beliefs? He is old enough to know what he believes and he knows right from wrong. 10 years from now abortion will still be considered murder in the eyes of God no matter how many celebrities protest or wave banners! Not everyone believes in abortion. Some people do still believe in the Bible so he has nothing to apologize about. It is amazing how everything that's wrong is considered right in America. Just because Lady GaGa stands up and screams it's alright to kill a baby or it's ok to be gay, doesn't make it right. Just as not believing in same-sex marriage makes a person ****-phobic.

He gave the acceptable answer to Rolling Stones on the politics/health care question, so there was no challenge to it. When his response to the abortion question isn't in line with Hollywood's group thinking, he is challenged with a question about a hypothetical rape of a 16 year old girl. Typical Rolling Stone interview.

Don't work yourselves up people. He's a teenager. Teenagers are complete idiots.
