Justin Bieber on 'The Late Show': I'm not a robot

Justin Bieber would like you to know that despite what you may have heard, he's a real, live boy.

The Bieb was a guest on "The Late Show with David Letterman" Monday (Jan. 31), and in addition to the usual Bieber topics -- how he handles fame, his Twitter activity (he gave a shout-out to Dave during his couch time) and his Usher-fueled rise to fame -- he also plugged his forthcoming concert movie, "Never Say Never." It was then that Bieber decided to dispel any rumors that he's not flesh and blood.

"People might think that some people just made me ... they put me together, like a machine," he explains to Letterman. "But [the movie] shows I really worked hard to get here."

A piece of the interview is after the jump. (we'll post the entire thing when it's available on Tuesday). Bieber tweets his appearance, and he and Letterman talk about whether he's still in school -- he's in 11th grade, he says, and studying "11th-grade material."

"Is that a sophomore in high school, is that about what it is?" Letterman asks. "Or a junior?" [It's the latter, Dave.]

Bieber's reply: "I don't know -- I'm Canadian."
