Heidi Montag hurt by 'malicious' Andy Cohen: More importantly, not joining 'Real Housewives'

When one makes a career by being a hated media personality, are they then allowed to be hurt by 'malicious' comments?

Apparently so.

Heidi Montag and her plastic body are none too pleased with Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" host, Andy Cohen, after he claimed to rather stab knives into his eyes than watch Montag as a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills.

The comment comes following a tweet that implied Montag would be joining the Beverly Hills based "Real Housewives" cast. She linked to a Radar online article stating that "The Hills" star and her pimp husband were "actively pursuing" the show.

"Andy's tasteless remarks were hurtful and completely unnecessary," Montag tells People. "I was simply being playful. I'm well aware I'm not the right demo for that show, but Andy Cohen took it to a malicious place. I have always been a fan of the 'Housewives' franchise and I don't appreciate being bullied."

We can understand that she may have been joking -- but we can't blame the guy for saying what we were all thinking...
