'Glee's' Jane Lynch to write memoir, but can she be as sharp as Sue Sylvester?

jane-lynch-sag.jpgOn the red carpet at the SAG Awards, Jane Lynch referred to the "Glee" kids as "snotfaucets," and for a moment, the line between fiction and reality blurred beautifully and we forgot that Sue Sylvester is not real. Lynch, however, will be stepping out of the shadow of her "Glee" counterpart soon.

Voice publishing has announced that they will be distributing Lynch's memoir, titled "Happy Accidents," this September. The book will explore not only Lynch's career, but her struggle with her sexuality and her journey to what she calls "a happy place."

"If I could go back in time and have a conversation with my 18-year-old self, the first thing I'd say is, 'Lose the perm.' Second, I would say, 'Relax. Really -- just relax. Don't sweat it,'" Jane says. "For a long time, I was anxious and fearful that the parade would pass me by, and that someone or something outside myself had all the answers. Having finally reached a happy place -- a happy accidents place -- I want to share my story with others, to let them know things aren't as bad as they fear."

In the book, Lynch will give readers insight into her childhood in Illinois, her time with famed Chicago comedy group The Second City, and her experiences with Christopher Guest and Judd Apatow films before she finally found her breakout role in "Glee."

We'll definitely be picking up a copy. We just hope she uses the word "snotfaucets" in there.

This title is annoying. Jane Lynch brought some of the funniest moments on screen with her IMPROVISED comedy. I seriously doubt anyone other than Jane Lynch created the term "snottfaucets". Please take a look at her career! Most of her movies and all of the one's in which she was given freedom to improvise, are absolutely hilarious. Well, at least she's hilarious. So to answer the ridiculous title question...YES! Jane Lynch is waaaaaaaaaay funnier than Sue Sylvester. Check out "Dog Show", or "A Mighty Wind" or even "40 Year Old Virgin" for the proof.
