Entire 'Hobbit' cast assembles in New Zealand, Peter Jackson still M.I.A.
All systems are go for Peter Jackson's big screen adaption of "The Hobbit" -- except the whole Peter Jackson part.
The cast and crew convened for a press conference in Wellington, New Zealand, on Feb. 11 (they're in the future!), while Jackson, who sent his regrets, stayed at home to nurse a perforated ulcer that sent him to the hospital in January.
The Dominion Post reports star Martin Freeman (Bilbo Baggins) appeared on the panel, joined by fellow British TV actors James Nesbitt, Richard Armitage and, our personal favorite, "Being Human" star Aidan Turner.
Filming begins Mar. 21, which should be more than enough time for Jackson to get up and running.

Would you please identify all the folks in the photo, please? Leaving out that crucial info is just a big tease.
And Aidan Turner is my personal favorite, too. I have no trouble finding him, even with a dwarfy beard!
