Emma Watson and Logan Lerman cast in 'Perks of Being a Wallflower'
Popular novel "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" is well on its way to becoming a film. Emma Watson confirms that she and Logan Lerman have been cast as Sam and Charlie, respectively. The movie, based on the novel by Stephen Chbosky, will also be written and directed by Chbosky.Watson updated her official Facebook with the note, "Hi all, just wanted to tell you that for once a story in the papers is true! I'm filming Perks of Being a Wallflower this summer. Can't wait! x"
"Perks" follows shy '90s teenager Charlie as he deals with his best friend's suicide and navigates high school. Exploring themes of drugs, sex, abortion, and homosexuality, the film is considerably more adult than the fare that Watson and Lerman are best known for -- "Harry Potter" and "Percy Jackson."
The film is to be produced by Summit Entertainment

Wow... Logan Lerman is just getting better looking by the day... if I may say. He'll soon be able to challenge Tony Curtis for the title of "best looking Jewish kid ever".
