David Arquette on reuniting with Courteney Cox: 'That would be the ideal situation'

Fewer than two weeks after leaving rehab, David Arquette opens up to Oprah Winfrey about his newfound sobriety and his unraveled marriage to Courteney Cox.

"I needed to implode, and blow up my building to get down to the foundation and rebuild myself," Arquette tells Winfrey in the Feb. 24 episode, speaking her language of self-help metaphors fluently.

Oprah pushed him to speak about the public perception of their separation, including the allegations that he cheated on her. "An affair, to me, is something that's a secret," he says, noting that his marriage was already technically over when he was spotted out with an other woman. "I thought [Courteney] was having an affair with someone, and that made me angry."

Now, they're in a much better place. "Courteney's been incredibly supportive," he says. "She's my best friend, and I love her with all of my heart. She understands."

But that doesn't mean they'll be getting together any time soon. "There's always the possibility, and that would be the ideal situation," he says. "We're still working on ourselves."

Omg. David really needs to keep his mouth shut! He's talking wayy too much about his personal life and his marriage. He not only was spotted with another woman, but he went on a radio station and blabbed on and on about his wife and their sex life. Courtney Cox's hasn't went public like he has. If he really hopes for a reconciliation, he needs to spot having these publicized interviews.
