Charlie Sheen wants $10 million for inadvertently hilarious memoir, 'When the Laughter Stopped'

Publishing houses, the line starts right here. Charlie Sheen is writing a book.

TMZ reports the recently unemployed actor has announced plans for a memoir about what led to the temporary/indefinite demise of "Two and a Half Men."

Parties interested in releasing the uncreatively-titled "When the Laughter Stopped" should plan on forking out at least $10 million. That's the number Sheen expects the bidding war to start at.

For some context... that number falls between the advances paid to the last two American presidents. George W. Bush sold rights to his "Decision Points" for a reported $7 million, while Bill Clinton's "My Life" earned a record-busting $15 million advance.

Naturally, the behind-the-scenes account of a network sitcom, penned by a frequently incoherent addict, should be right up there competition with the most recent leaders of the free world.

TOO funny! Thanks for making me laugh today. ;)

What a joke, but like I say if there's a sucker tat will pay for it, ask for it.

Smart money says he's dead by chapter 7.

Why did people even watch the horrible show in the first place?

Good luck getting that kind of money for this book. Stupid man!

we aready know good stuff allready

What a fool ! Had he done the eight remaining episodes of this season wouldn*t he have made 12 MILLION dollars at 1.5 mill per episode ??? Does none of these "actors" learn anything from Farrah Fauscet(Charlies Angels), Shelly Long(Cheers) Suzanne Sommers(3*s Company)???

Giving Charlie Sheen money is just giving more money to the drug problem of the U.S. through Charlie Sheen.

Oh yeah I'm sure Charlie is a Victim. NOT! And this guy has KIDS!
