Charlie Sheen on 'Today': Wants 3 million an episode because he's a 'fricking rock star from Mars'

NBC's Jeff Rossen sat down with Charlie Sheen in Beverly Hills Sunday (Feb. 27) for a "Today Show" interview, where he also met Sheen's twin boys Max and Bob and his two new girlfriends, Bree Olson and Natalie Kenly, whom Sheen apparently refers to as "the goddesses."
But the real fun began with the questions.
When Rossen pointed out that Sheen is angry, Sheen was quick to correct him.
"I'm not angry, I'm passionate and everybody thinks I'm should be like begging for my job back and I'm just going to forewarn them that it's everybody else that's gonna be begging me for their job back," says Sheen. "I'll finish the TV show. I'll even do Season 10, but at this point because of psychological distress, 'Oh my god,' it's 3 mil an episode. Take it over leave it."
Rossen disbelievingly says Sheen wants a raise, from his current salary of 2 million an episode.
Sheen responds, "Look what they put me through!"
He then says that he's underpaid right now when you look at the money CBS makes off "Two and a Half Men."
The coup de grace:
"I'm tired of pretending like I'm not special. I'm tired of pretending like I'm not bitching, a total fricking rock star from Mars, and people can't figure me out; they can't process me. I don't expect them to. You can't process me with a normal brain."
Hoooo boy.

This has GOT to be a massive put-on. I'm convinced Sheen is doing the same thing Joaquin Phoenix did when he started making weird talk show appearances and it ended up all being part of a "Borat"-like documentary.

Actually Charlie passed a drug test given by GMA. I think the guy is more entertaining this way. I've never watched one episide of his show. If it comes back I will. Hang in there Charlie. Just make sure you use a condom.
Years ago when he filmed Terminal Velocity, I had the pleasue, or displeasure as I see it as providing executive protection for Mr. Sheen. The way he treated women, crew, his own staff and the amount of other things I witnessed, I have not watched a single thing he has done since. I just wish he had the talent his brother had, and the head on his shoulders to regain human thought. I now feel sad for the man as he is not willing to except any help from anyone and those who are close to him allow him to travel this path.
I guess a public service announcement showing him in his earlier days, to now would keep many a kids away from drugs.
It fascinating some people find this sort of thing "entertaining." This is a real person with what seems to be severe mental issues. It's not entertainment, it's just sad.
Was a fan of the show, but he's done. Good luck getting a job for $3,000 after all this buddy.
If he is not on drugs now then he is burnt. Sad, I hope he gets/remains in treatment.
