In a bit of a surprise move, "Gnomeo & Juliet" tops the weekend box office for the first time in its three-week run.

It muscles past new entry "Hall Pass" ($13.4 million) and last week's winner "Unknown" ($12.4 million) on a $14.2 million wave of families hitting the theater during Oscar weekend.

Released the same day as Justin Bieber's "Never Say Never," the animated British movie is now on track to out surpass Bieber's cumulative box office take of $51.2 million with $56.4 million.

On track to make... not quite as much is Nicholas Cage's "Drive Angry 3D," which enters all the way down at #9, pulling in only an estimated $5.1 million.

1. "Gnomeo & Juliet," $14.2 M
2."Hall Pass," $13.4 M
3. "Unknown," $12.4 M
4. "Just Go With It" $11.1 M
5. "I Am Number Four," $11.0 M
