Arnold Schwarzenegger as 'Terminator?' He may be back

arnold-scwharzenegger-gi.jpgNow that his stint as governator is over, could Aahnold be returning to his role as "Terminator?"

Maybe so. While there's been no official announcement that Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise his role in the famous franchise, he did announce that he's ready to hit the big screen again.

"Exciting news," he tweeted on Feb. 10. "My friends at CAA have been asking me for 7 years when they can take offers seriously. Gave them the green light today."

The announcement was followed five days later by a Deadline article suggesting that another "Terminator" film may be in the works. According to the post, William Wisher, who collaborated with James Cameron on "Terminator 2," has written a 24 page treatment for the next film, as well as a four-page concept outline for a sixth installment.

We don't expect this to be the last we hear about a Schwarzenegger return to the film series that made him famous, but we aren't totally sold yet on the idea of Arnold the actor being reintroduced to our lives.

He was last seen in the testosterone driven film "The Expendables" as Trench, though he was not credited for the role. Before that, he played Prince Hapi in 2004's "Around the World in 80 Days."

What do you think? Can the former governor return to Hollywood? Or is he just too far past his prime?
