Reported 'American Idol' finalist Casey Abrams hospitalized

The road to the Top 12 has a serious speed bump for reported "American Idol" Top 24 contestant Casey Abrams.

TMZ reports the 19-year-old was sent to the hospital, Feb. 23, complaining of severe stomach pains and is expected to stay overnight.

Since the Top 24 won't perform live this season of "Idol," the top 12 men are slated to tape their outing Friday, Feb. 25. Not being able to rally before then would be the end of the line for Abrams.
