Steve Harvey's ex-wife pulls a classy move, lashes out on YouTube
While Steve Harvey
is busy tweeting about his fabulous Disney Dream cruise, his ex-wife
spent her weekend slandering his name all over the internet. How cute. Mary Harvey, took to YouTube over the weekend posting more than 25 minutes worth of footage in which she bashes the comedian -- and she doesn't hold anything back.
"After all this time, the reason the I really want to speak out right now is that I really need some closure with this situation," she tells the camera.
Through a three-part series of videos, she documents her entire relationship with the comedian, which ended in a 2005 divorce. She recounts their early days of living in a car in the 1990's, the birth of their son Wynton, infidelity and manipulation.
"He turned my son against me, had me evicted from our house," she spills. "I woke up, and everything was gone."
Accusing him of being a chronic cheater, she complains that Harvey took her son and left her with nothing at the end of their marriage. Adding insult to injury, Harvey married his current wife (and former mistress) just two years later.
And now? The exes are involved in another legal battle.
"In Steve's opinion, I was responsible when Oprah did not give him a TV show," she explains. "I'm being sued for that as I sit here on the sofa today."
Well, we're sure this is helping her case.
Harvey's lawyers are on the ball, telling People they are "appalled" by her actions.
"The ex-wife is fully aware of the court's current orders and permanent injunctions which prohibit either party, their lawyers or representatives from discussing and releasing information on the Internet and to the media," they explain. "We are taking the necessary legal steps to rectify this matter to the full extent of the law and we will be seeking contempt and sanctions against her for such reprehensible and callous disregard for the court orders."

She's not slandering Steve's name. She's finally verbally telling the world her side of the story and refuses to allow the issue to be swept quietly under the rugs.
It may not be the classiest of moves, but you can't blame her. Obviously she felt he was at fault for things and he's a public figure... It's never there fault. It's always the spouse of a famous person, because famous people are perfect. Please... Preach on sista.

Mary is being very strategic in her approach, but whomever is coaching is doing it all wrong. See their son is the one who will be hurt by this more than Mary or Steve, because regardless they are both his parents and Steve is his father. I have not yet heard him say one negative things about her in public. However their marriage ended that is something they both have to answer for. They both have kept their silence about their divorce & why. Only God can mend her broken heart, not the public out cry. Steve can't nor their son. Mary should have taken this to Lord and left it there. He is the only one that change Steve and his situation. They both need to ask forgiveness for what ever they have done and move on. God is good even to those who heart us because we do not know what the other person is going through...
And why is this our business to know? Please. Has Steve H. been in a relationship with any of us? The law is the law. When two parties make an agreement to keep their mouths shut, keep your mouth shut. She will pay for blurting out her emotions. No one can determine who is wrong from reading an article or from one point of view. I am not giving anyone a pass because they are a celebrity, but we should be careful not to lean to one side of the story because we've been hurt in the past and her take 'feels right.' You don't know what is right! Justice will eventually prevail, so let the course take place.
His ex-wife is not stating anything new. Steve Harvey himself has stated on his morning show that he is no saint. The only difference is Steve didnt go into details about her personal life in the public eye. Come on people, most of his loyal listeners know Steve used to be a playa. How do you all think he he got the name "Code Cracker" when interpreting the Strawberry Letters... Game recognize game!...
This is very typical of a woman, when a relationship splits . They can't just let things go, and set out to cause hurt. Steve stay strong, I have been there twice before, and they always end up looking a fool. The problem is they had it, and gave it up, but they always want it back.
Whose to say that she hasn't taken it to the Lord..Children are hurt alot by their parents actions, but don't u think Steve's actions have hurt the child as well..The Bible talks in great deal about what is done in the dark coming to light & be careful how u treat others as it will be done unto u..Steve was wrong then & he felt he got away with it..he moved on which there is nothing wrong with it, but it is all in the way u do it..Now if Steve is a changed man & truly a man of God, he would admit it & begin the healing process & show other men the correct way to make the wrongs right
Just as much as he can talk about his past, so can she. He is suing her currently in court because he claims it's her fault Oprah didn't give him a show.

If she went in without a lawyer she is the fool, sounds like they struggled together, and she has evidence of the adultery.
